Faber-Castell Cosmetics presented their 2017 Summer Highlights at this great show: Vibrant colours for a bright and brash look; a prismatic highlighter trio with an exquisite dewy glow; a buttery, full colour wet-shine lipstick; sensational, black-jet eyeliner & kohl plus the revolutionary Brow Boost for pumped-up and defined brows in an XL-Version.

... and our eye- and lipliner concept URBAN AMAZON, a gel-like formula with outstanding pay-off and in a bright, transparent retractable pencil, was evaluated to be part of the Innovation Tree.

With 2,677 exhibiting companies from 69 countries, the 50th edition of Cosmoprof Bologna was the biggest and most international show ever. With more than 250,000 visitors from 150 countries, according to the organizers, the number of foreign professionals visiting the show grew by +16% compared to last year.

The 6th edition of  MakeUp in New York opened its doors in the heart of the Chelsea Art District and again was a very successful show. More than a hundred exhibitors welcomed over 2,800 visitors (+15 % over previous year) in just 2 days.

With our Autumn Novelties we presented smart solutions that create a fresh, dewy skin with a gorgeous lit-from-within-glow and stunning colours that last the whole day: The trio SUBLIME SKIN takes highlighting to the next dimension and gives the skin the most natural, lovely sheen. The duo highlighter DAZZLING DOUBLE also creates a flattering finish with subtle luminosity. The semi-sheer lipstick RAINBOW PEARLS is the perfect blend for optically fuller and conditioned lips. VELVET BLEND is a pigment-rich lipstick with a velvety, matte finish that doesn’t dry the lips. MAGNETIC is a gel-like formula in pencil-shape that glides on like a dream but lasts the whole day. We presented it in a colourful range that makes eyes and lips light up with an acid pop of colour, bright metallics or cupcake hues.

On the packaging side we showcased the new airtight Slim Plastic Pencil for super long-lasting formulations that can be easily customized from “top to toe”. The new retractable lip crayon Slumbo that unites the precision of a liner with the convenience of a lipstick and the retractable Jumbo Duo which is the perfect packaging for on-the-go.

We were part of the Innovation Tree! For the Innovation Tree, the Jury evaluated 24 products out of 60. Faber-Castell Cosmetics’ Mechanical Pencil with its NEW Micro Bristles was one of the selected. This eye-catching accessory for brows provides an excellent blending in a continuous track.

Teaser for 2016 Summer Novelties

For the 7th time, MakeUp in Paris opened its doors to the global make-up and beauty industry. And we were excited to reveal our 2016 | Summer Novelties at this great Parisian meeting:

Smart solutions for a glamorous make-up that lasts the whole day: Line & Glitz, an extravagant eye combo with vibrant finish and 3D-effect, Magnetic an eyeliner/kajal in pencil shape that glides on like a dream - you’d swear it were a gel. Satin Kajal that creates a ‘soft look’ during the day and a ‘sultry look’ during the night. And, of course, invisible helpers like Lip Shaper and Invisible Browfix to become the best possible version of ourselves, plus Lip Uplift THE secret weapon for perfect lips.

On the packaging side we presented a new airtight packaging for super long-lasting formulations. Plus a new, eye-catching accessory for the Mechanical Pencil.

For the first time, MakeUp in Paris set up an area dedicated to Sustainable Development. Exhibitors were invited to promote their eco-designed products in the categories ‘formulation’, ‘packaging’ and ‘accessory’. Sustainability and environmental concerns have always been key topics to the whole Faber-Castell group.  And we are proud to announce that we are one of the winners at MakeUp in…sustainable!

... and our concept JELLY BABY, a clear wet-shine balm with smooth oils for soft lips, was evaluated to be part of the Innovation Tree.

For the 49th time Cosmoprof Bologna opened its doors. According to the organizers the 2016 edition “saw a slight increase” in the number of visitors (250,000), and with 2,510 exhibitors a 5% plus on last year. As “show within the show”, Cosmopack also has registered a great success. The event dedicated to the beauty supply chain grew by 5,42% and was attended by 21,900 professional visitors from the industry.



With the motto Elemental Elegance Faber-Castell Cosmetics presented their 2016| Spring Novelties:  New concepts reflecting upcoming trends like Vegan Beauty, Jelly Baby with a gel-like texture in a Jumbo Pencil or Gorgeous Glow, a duo highlighter in matte and pearly which makes the eyes appear wider. Summary: Four exciting days filled with valuable conversations - a success for Faber-Castell Cosmetics.

MakeUp in Action Los Angeles brought together more than 700 people from all over the world (with a majority from the North American East and West Coast). The new concept was not a trade show in its traditional form but an efficient platform that perfectly suited the beauty sector on the West Coast. In a nice, professional atmosphere – as typical for the MakeUp in™-format – the make-up and skincare industry met, to discuss and do business. Inspiring workshops, interesting conferences and round tables made the event a high quality coming together and a successful event.

2015 Autumn Novelties: Natural Beauty
With about 2,500 visitors (+15% to previous year), the 2015 edition of MakeUp in New York was once again very busy. This year, the new accessories, packaging solutions and formulations presented by the exhibitors have been evaluated and selected before being showcased in a dedicated area at the so called “Innovation Tree”. And we were proud to be among the selected products with our “Art of Contouring” concept, a natural face lift in 3 steps in our handy XXL pencil that provides a convenient one-hand application and is the perfect tool for on-the-go. With our Autumn Novelties we showcased further highlights to make natural beauty come true. It is always good to have a few tricks up your sleeve, isn't it?

With 126 exhibitors and more than 3,200 visitors in just two days, this sixth edition of MakeUp in Paris will have beaten all records in terms of attendance. Records in terms of foreign visitors with a percentage of 28%, records in terms of participants to conferences with a total of 1,200 people.

The 2nd edition of MakeUp in São Paulo has proven to be the gathering place for the make-up professional South American market. With 1,200 visitors, MakeUp in SaoPaulo is meant to be the place to discover trends, innovations and high quality make-up products. Faber-Castell Cosmetics Brasil presented the Autumn | Winter 2017 do Brasil collection, multi-functional components, products with effective ingredients as well as the palette colours spring/summer forecast.

The “MakeUp in… ™” concept is further highlighted through the success of the first edition in Sao Paulo. In two days more than 600 visitors were attending at the Renaissance hotel. With more than 150 people at each session, the conferences were a huge success, too. Exhibitors confirmed that “the entire Brazilian professional make-up industry was present! But not only! All the decision makers from international brands and brands coming from other South American countries too”!

With more than 2,163 visitors (+42% to previous year) the 2014 edition of MakeUp in New York broke all previous records. The exhibitors (+ 30% to previous year) were able to meet buyers from the East Coast of the United States but also from Canada and California. And in combination with interesting conferences and a great cocktail party the MakeUp in-format proves to be the perfect concept.

With our Fall Collection we were excited to reveal our latest innovations at MakeUp in New York: Lasting wonders with an exceptional fluid feel, striking effects and components that are multi-functional and convenient.

MakeUp in Paris celebrated its 5th anniversary. Again, it was a successful show with more than 110 exhibitors, 12 conferences, 27 speakers and nearly 3,000 professionals in just two days an event like no other. In spite of the strikes, about 2.800 professionals (+20% to previous year) visited the show.

Bologna 2014: Faber-Castell Cosmetics' Meeting Point

COSMOPACK 2014 - the show in the show dedicated on the production chain, opened its doors on April 2nd, two days before COSMOPROF. Over 400 exhibitors from all around the world showcased their novelties in three pavilions with 14,000 qm (9% more than 2013). According to the organizers the 47th edition recorded 201,238 visitors (7% increase to 2013) and with nearly 60,000 the number of the international visitors increased by 21% to the previous year.

With NO LIMITS! Faber-Castell Cosmetics presented make-up-highlights that emphasize the various facets of the individual personality, the Trend Colours for 2015 as well as two new packaging systems: The airtight Combo Stick and the Chubby Mechanical Pencil.

MakeUp in New York 2013

The third edition of MakeUp in New York is becoming "THE" North-American event devoted exclusively to the make-up industry. At the Center548, in the heart of the Chelsea Art District, the organizers recorded a 50% increase over the last year with 1,520 visitors and a total of 69 exhibitors. The 2 days were also marked by conferences and make-up activities. A successful event for the entire industry.

With this year's motto DARE TO BE DIFFERENT Faber-Castell Cosmetics presented new formulas for eyes and lips in stunning shades as well as innovative packaging systems.

For the fourth time MakeUp in Paris 2013 successfully brought together all the players of the makeup industry. 90 exhibitors, including 60% from abroad, and more than 2,500 visitors (+18% compared to 2012, + 110% for foreign visitors) enjoyed the qualitative and friendly niche concept. According to the organisiers marketing and R&D managers account alone for over 50% of visitors.

With this year's motto NOUVELLE VAGUE Faber-Castell Cosmetics presented new formulas in enigmatic shades as well as an excellent new packaging system: the airtight Combo Stick.


Cosmopack Bologna 2013 | March 7th - 10th

Spot-On! A successful 4-day event...

COSMOPACK 2013 opened its doors on March 7th, the day before COSMOPROF. Over 330 exhibitors from all around the world showcased their novelties in three new pavilions with 12,000 qm.  A successful four-day event with nearly 195,000 visitors (14% increase to 2012) and with nearly 50,000 the number of the international visitors increased by 22% to the previous year.

With this year's motto "SPOT-ON!" Faber-Castell Cosmetics presented their make-up highlights in Bologna which were inspired by eye-catching runway-looks focussing on eyes and nails. Renowned international cosmetic brands came to see our high end cosmetic fomulations and exiting new packaging concepts.

This year MakeUp in New York hosted 40% additional exhibitors. More than 1,000 people came to visit and the organizers "were particularly delighted" by the number of visitors coming from far beyond the greater New York metropolitan area.

With ZEITGEIST, Faber-Castell Cosmetics presented premium products that make a statement, not just another pretty colour. Timeless beauty that is hip with superior quality, performance and playfulness. Thanks to a sheer endless array of decorating technologies cosmetic pencils can be transformed into works of art.

A record 2,100 visitors at this year’s Make Up in Paris, representing a 13% increase in attendance over last year, with 35% of visitors from the Marketing field, followed by R&D and Sales. A strong increase in the number of foreign visitors (from more than 40 countries) confirmed the organizers goal to become the leading B2B make-up event in Europe.

Styles have changed over the centuries, but Gold and Kajal have remained integral parts of women's beauty rituals all over the world. FCE Cosmétique (International Exhibition of Technology for the Cosmetic Industry) is an exclusive event of technology for the cosmetic industry in Latin America. It is considered to be the biggest development platform for new products with more than 500 exhibitors demonstrating their innovative products and services. In 3 days almost 21,000 visitors attended the trade show which took place at the Transamerica Expo Center.

With BeBeautiful, BeMysterious and BeFashion Faber-Castell Cosmetics presented 3 colourful concepts. New products with emphasis on dual mechanical lipsticks with matte & glossy texture and coulour twist lipliner pencil provided the framework for the novelties. A successful show with an increase of 10% more visitors.
